Ministries of Service

Called by Jesus to love our neighbors as our selves, Trinity Cathedral is home to ministries dedicated to providing food and necessities to our unhoused neighbors. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed. Contact us to learn more.

We are also proud to host the Canterbury Bridge Episcopal campus ministry, serving students at nearby San Jose State University, and to provide support to Octavia's Kitchen and Santa Maria Urban Ministry.

Knitting community together

Deacon Kathey and Sarah Nunes will lead parishioners in the meditative practice of knitting and crocheting hats, baby blankets, and prayer shawls. Once per quarter, we hope to gather in an afternoon of retreat to share stories as we knit, crochet, and bring our finished creations for blessing. Beginners are welcome: basic lessons and patterns will be provided. Our creations will support the good work of the Santa Maria Urban Ministry.

Episcopal Relief & Development is supporting earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria.
