Trinity Cathedral Vital and Thriving Project

Parishioners

What is the "Vital and Thriving" Project?

Trinity Cathedral is one of 22 congregations from the Diocese of El Camino Real and the Diocese of California engaging in a multi-year discernment and visioning process called “Vital and Thriving Congregations.” The goal of this project is to discern God’s preferred and promised future for us—to try and figure out where God might be leading us as a congregation, and how we might get there.

The first phase of the project, called the Discovery phase, asks us to really listen to each other and, as Dean Julia puts it, to see ourselves as God sees us. To see ourselves for who we are, where we’ve been, and where we might go together.

Reports now available!

Below please find the following reports, in both English and Spanish, to view or download.

Interviews Report: We talked with 24 members of our congregation and asked them questions about Trinity’s past, present, and possible future.

Reflections on Trinity's History: Remember the timeline event back in March? Here are the highlights of what we remembered from Trinity’s first 150+ years.
